Almost, Maine was our first covid show. We transformed the stage into a greenscreen TV studio and livestreamed the show.

Actors were separated by barriers and split-screened with digital backgrounds.

In other scenes, actors seemed to be facing each other with painted backgrounds greenscreened in.

I used Wirecast as a stream production platform and video switcher.

With 4 cameras, video output, and power but only 4 computer ports, it was a symphony of workarounds and a ballet of replugging (who knew nobody makes a firewire splitter?)

Because of covid, the stage had to be restored to a classroom for day use!
